Objectives
The goal was to address the corrosion issues affecting the plant’s coverings, which were compromising its performance in a demanding environment. In collaboration with SC Ingeniería, Klar rehabilitated the coverings by replacing the corroded materials with multilayer thermoacoustic panels designed to resist corrosion, high temperatures, and noise.
Achievements
The project was successfully completed with the installation of 2.55 mm gray TK6S Pro PVC corrugated panels, recommended by Klar’s project team to meet the plant’s challenging conditions. This replacement improved durability, offering a 20-year lifespan and a 10-year warranty, while also creating a safer and more efficient environment for workers.
