Objectives
Klar’s challenge focused on providing a corrosion-free solution for the roofing and enclosures of two major production lines at Celima 2. The ceramic production process generates high levels of corrosion, which had already caused leaks in the existing metal roofs. Another issue was that these metal coverings generated excessive heat inside the plant.
Achievements
For this project, Klar supplied multilayer PVC corrugated panels: 2.50 mm white TK5 profile for roofs and enclosures, and TK5 SUN profile for skylight areas (15%). The installation covered an area of 3,500 m² (Popi Kiln) and 1,500 m² (Kiln 3).
